Now,I want to talk about one of my favourite and one of the most iconic movie of all time..The Original Karate Kid. For those of you who don't know the Karate Kid(2010 film) is a remake of the original. Unlike, the remake which focus on Kung Fu rather than Karate the Original stays true to the title. The story of the Original and the Remake is basically the same but unlike the Karate Kid(2010) the original has a more inspiring story that touched millions of hearts in the 80s[it touched mine in the 90s ^_^] and has a relaxing soundtrack.
In short, the story of the original is about a teenage boy(Daniel) who moved from New Jersey to Los Angeles after his widowed mother gets a new job. There,he makes new friends and met a girl. He thought his life was perfect until he was bullied by Johnny Lawrence and his gang.They have the upper hand due to their knowledge of Karate. One night, Daniel was saved by his apartment maintenance man( Mr. Miyagi) who is a master of Karate. Daniel wanted to learn Karate from him but he refuses saying that fighting is not good. Daniel and Mr.Miyagi went to Johnny's dojo to meet their sensei, John Kreese to try and solve the problem. Their plan was a failure as the sensei was a BAD DUDE but they made an agreement that he will give them time for Daniel to train and Johnny and his gang was not to touch Daniel until the tournament.
So, How will Daniel solve his problems? I'll let you answer that question yourself ;-)
