Superman
The tile and the symbol says it all...Today I am gonna talk about the iconic and legendary superhero which is 'Superman'. Now for those of you who are not familiar with the Man Of Steel, don't feel left out because we are going to explore the story of this man-like alien...Do enjoy ^_^

The Origin Story 
Superman was born as Kal-El on the planet Krypton,before being sent to Earth as an infant by his father,Jor-El(Krypton's foremost scientist),moments before Krypton destruction.Once he reached Earth, he landed in Kansas and was discovered by Jonathan and Martha Kent.They adopted Kal-el and raised him as Clark Kent and is imbued with a strong moral compass.During his teens,he discovered that he has powers beyond that of a human.The Kents told Clark that they discovered him in a crater and they gave him something of his home world. Clark then departs from Kansas in search for answers regarding his origin.Finally, he made his way to The Fortress Of Solitude where he met his father,Jor-El(sort of) where all of his question are answered.....

The 'S' symbol
Originally, the 'S' symbol just stands for Superman in the early age.Now, it is define as the symbol of the House of El (something like a clan) in which Kal-El's is a member of.Hence, the name El originated from.By 2013, in The Man Of Steel it is symbol of the House Of El and it means HOPE

Powers
On Krypton, would be as strong as a normal human(because of its red sun and stronger gravity). Superman gains his powers from a yellow star( The Sun) the cells of his body absorbs the radiation and granting his powers.His powers include super strength, heat vision, x-ray vision, Invulnerability,superhuman speed, superhuman breath and the ability to fly.

Film
Throughout my lifetime,there has been a total of 3 actors that played superman in the big screen.
First and foremost is Christopher Reeve who played the iconic role in Superman(1978) and its sequels.I wasn't born during this time but I did watched it with my family since its a famous and iconic film.

Next is Brandon Routh who played Superman in Superman Returns(2006).The fim is an homage sequel to Superman(1978) and Superman II(1980) ignoring the events of Superman III(1983) and Superman IV(1987). Brandon Routh was chosen because of his resemblance to Christopher Reeve.

Last but not least, is Henry Cavill who portrays Superman in the reboot titled Man Of Steel(2013)

When you lose hope…Don’t go to the dark side because you are not alone if you open your up eyes you realize that there are great friends standing by your side and would willing to do anything to pull you up…Have faith in others is not a leap of death but rather a leap to a better and newer life
